Why work with us?
Charity Link has been working in partnership with some of the UK’s most valued and widely recognised charities since 1995.
We offer our charity fundraisers a competitive reward package and the opportunity to be the public face of some fantastic charities. We have raised over £100,000,000 for our Charity Partners through long-term donors since our partnerships began. This means that everyone joining the team at Charity Link, will be making a positive difference to people’s lives.
The role of the Fundraiser
Our fundraisers interact with hundreds of potential donors each day, either in our pre-booked venues or at potential donors homes as part of our door-to-door team. Our high footfall venues range from shopping centres and busy high streets to county shows and train stations. Working as the public face of our clients, our fundraisers inform potential donors of the fantastic work of our charity partners and seek public support by way of regular monthly direct debit donations.
A day in the life
Door-to-Door
Our door-to-door team typically work between midday and 8pm maximising the opportunity to engage with people within the local community. We offer both full and part time (minimum of 12 hours across three days per week must be worked). You’ll receive information at the start of your working week which will help you plan your route each day. For the majority of the day you’ll be walking around independently but your Team Manager won’t be far away if you need support and is always at the end of the phone. You’ll probably knock on around 25 doors an hour so there will be plenty of opportunities to sign up donors for our Charity Partners.
Private Sites
Our private site fundraisers typically work between 10am and 6pm and are usually employed on a 40 hour per week contract working 5 days per week, including alternate weekends. Our venues are often busiest first thing in the morning, over lunchtime and later in the afternoon so our Fundraisers must be flexible in the hours they work and demonstrate commitment to reaching their donor targets each week.

What we’re looking for
Our Fundraisers come from a variety backgrounds. However, confidence, passion and commitment are a must! Flexibility is essential, as you’ll probably get your best results working outside of standard office hours and at weekends. If you’re looking for a role in our private sites team, you’ll need a valid UK driving licence and the ability to get yourself and your kit to your venue each day.
